Running 750 miles in a year
Tue 11 Feb 2020 - Thu 11 Feb 2021
In memory of
Jeremy Wedlake
7th Dec 1976 - 11th Feb 2019
Cancer has affected my family massively. My mom was diagnosed with cancer in 2016, she had her left lung removed, and had chemo. Thankfully mom is in remission up til now. One of my friends was diagnosed with breast cancer, she had her treatment and she is currently cancer free. My brother became ill suddenly in late January, where we found out he was riddled with cancer. on 11th February Jeremy lost his battle with cancer, and we lost a brother, son and friend. Jeremy was the most kindhearted person you would ever meet. He would help anyone. Being 12 years older than me, I looked up to him. He was the smartest man I ever met. We miss him every day. In honour of my brother I am doing a year long event from 11th February 2020 to the 11 February 2021, running 750 miles over the year period.
