My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. I lost my Dad to cancer last year in a few short months. He was diagnosed in June with stage IV lung cancer, and gone in October. We had hope throughout because of the promise of an amazing new immunotherapy drug that had just got through trials and been licensed for general use. Unfortunately, he had to get through radiotherapy and chemotherapy first, and the cancer was quicker than those treatments. Throughout, the immunotherapy drug was an amazing goal that kept us all going, so I want to do a tiny bit to help fund a small step towards another drug like this.
