My Story
My lovely mum died of Ovarian Cancer on 18th February 2019. She was only 71 and was as fit as a fiddle until the end, retaining her great sense of humour (check out the Charlie's Angels photo!) Luckily, I got to spend 20 happy months with my mum before she died. She was brave and wonderful, laughing, singing and even dancing in her hospital bed. I’m doing the Bristol Half Marathon in September raising money for Cancer Research. Every little bit counts so whatever you can donate will be greatly appreciated. This isn’t going to be easy as I’m a bit of an old bird now but I know if my mum was here she would tell me how incredibly proud she was of me so there’s no getting out of it now! Thank you Sam x
