My Story
My wonderful Dad died from a form of skin cancer in his early forties. It was a shock because he was fit and healthy. I will always wonder ‘What if’ and ‘If only’ things had of been different. I’m am now in my early forties and to be honest that’s why when nine of my lovely ‘Mummy friends’ encouraged me to join them and take part in a 5k Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives - I had to do it! It is out of my comfort zone and I’m not exactly in the best physical shape of my life, however I am doing it because 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound donated makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so I’d be really grateful if you would please sponsor me now.
