My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Having had multiple people in my life be diagnosed with, fought off or sadly passed away from cancer I felt it was time to step up & help. I'm tired of living in a world where so many people we love & can't imagine life without have to go through such a gruelling experience, mentally & physically. I am so excited for the day that they announce there is a solid cure for this, so it's not something we all live in fear of.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
