My Story
I'm racing for the most amazing lady, MY MUM! She is doing a wonderful job of recovering from stages 2 and 4 tongue and throat cancer. She had to have a partial glossectomy (half of her tongue removed) and a neck dissection (lymph nodes 1- 26 removed) She is still undergoing tests to determine if She still has cancer, as a result of a perineural invasion (cancer cells hit her nervous system) She is an absolute inspiration! She works so hard and she's so brave! Love you millions muma! Xx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
