My mum Jennifer Hughes and grandma Elizabeth Murphy
My Story
I signed up for this years 5k race for life with my 9 year old daughter and 66 year old dad, which is on the 5th Sept (a day before mams birthday) to raise money for the millions of people affected by cancer, in memory of my mam and grandma, in hope to save many lives before they’re taken too soon (as mams was) to this unpredictable disease. Please sponsor us to help with research, prevention screening and better understanding of the different variations of the disease as anyone can become victims to its many forms! 🙏 x

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
