Samantha's Race for Life
Basildon Pretty Muddy 5k 2018
Sun 17 Jun 2018
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I only recently realised for myself how shocking this disease is and how quickly it can take someone you love away. I've been signed up to partake in this event since November as I've wanted to do something to help a charity like this for some time. Due to unfortunate events recently, I'm now even more determined to raise money for this cause so more lives can be saved. I'm running this race in memory of my Godmother who's life was taken too soon by cancer. I hope no one will ever have to face what she did and therefore by helping me to raise as much money possible, development in medicines and cures can be discovered to save the lives of people with this disease.
