Drinkers with a running problem!
Cancer touches all our lives in one way or another. Unfortunately for my family it has taken a few. Currently, my grandad is nearing the end of his battle, and I wish it was for the better. Throughout his life the big "C" has taken hold of him and he has come out the end of it fighting, although this time it isn't meant to be. I'm doing this race, not only to help raise funds towards life saving research, but to also hopefully put a smile on his face when he sees how ridiculous we looked at the end of it.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
