Every family & every friend will have some way been effected by cancer. This can be a loved one being diagnosed, fighting and beating cancer or losing a loved one to the horrible illness. I've set this page to raise funds for leukaemia. My father in-law Pete got diagnosed with acute limbostic leukaemia on 23rd January 2019 with treatment starting 3rd February 2019. He is fighting it so brilliantly and started stem cell treatment plan at the end of July 2019 his also taking part in a research trial whilst under going treatment which will help support effective treatment of others diagnosed with leukaemia . My two boys adore there Grandad and raising money for leukaemia means others like Pete get the chance to fight leukaemia. Doing this walk we hope to raise money to support research in effective treatments, tools to diagnose early and give everyone the chance to fight and beat cancer. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.
