My Story
Please help me to raise vital funds. In 2012, two months before my daughter Millie was born, I sadly lost my Dad to a combination of COPD and liver cancer. Life was not the same, but we pulled together as a family, and Millie brought so much light into our lives. Very sadly in 2016, I lost my dearly loved Mum to a short battle with bowel cancer. It still doesn't seem real and she is forever in my thoughts and heart. Losing my parents has made such a profound difference to my life, and is still a daily struggle. Now feels the right time for me to do something in their memory and to raise vital funds for cancer research. So, in March 2019 I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in aid of Cancer Research UK. I'm running this for for my parents, for dear family members and friends who have either suffered from cancer or sadly lost their lives. We are all in some way affected by this disease, and experience the destruction it can cause to those fighting it and to their families and friends. Please help me to raise funds for this worthwhile charity. Together we can help beat cancer sooner. Thanks so much x
