My Story
When two loved ones in your family get diagnosed with cancer, it's heartbreaking. Especially when my nan passed away in 2008 with ovarian cancer and then not even a decade later my dad was diagnosed with bone cancer. My dad had to have his leg amputated in the result of this cancer, which fortunately helped make him cancer free. I want to help others beat cancer and know that they are not alone, which is why I'm taking part in the 5k Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
