My Story

This September, I’m taking on Sweatember, an epic 30-day exercise challenge for Cancer Research UK. Help me raise money to fund life-saving cancer research by sponsoring me. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Although I spend most of my days getting some form of exercise cleaning my holiday cottages through doing the vacuum bop, or the bend and stretch polishing the glass shower screens and windows, or working out my arms ironing the mountain of bed sheets, getting closer to...ahem..the big 40, I really need to start concentrating on getting into the habit of some proper daily exercise and properly looking after myself, as I tend to spend my time running around after everyone else (well, doesn't every mum!), but which will also help the tea and cake habit I seem to have formed over the last however many years! I saw this challenge pop up on my Facebook feed and thought what better way to actually get kick started into a routine habit of exercise. whilst also helping a very worthy cause, one that is so very close to home, in more ways than one. I've set a low target of £50, but anything raised is worth the effort! So, if you would like to give something, however small to help kick me into action and help a worthy cause, please donate.
