Mum & Nan

Myself and Maia will be taking part in Race For Life 2018 in memory of our brave and beautiful Mum/Nan, Annette. Mum was diagnosed in early 2016 with oesophageal cancer and sadly lost her fight in December 2017. Throughout her 18 month battle with this awful disease she was a true fighter. Even at her all time lows when she couldn’t eat or drink and was constantly being sick, she still kept smiling. Our Mum was an amazing woman who moulded my sister and I into the ladies we are today. She wasn’t just our Mum, she was a loving wife to our Dad Reggie and a doting Nanna to Lacey, Charlie, Maia and Lexi, who she adored very much. So Maia and myself along with other family members will fight together to raise funds to help find a cure to eradicate this horrendous disease.
