My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Last year my work team lost a much loved friend and colleague to cancer. She is very much missed. We therefore decided to take part in the Harrogate Race for Life on Sunday 9th July as the "KTF Girls". Some of us will run, some will walk the course - but we hope to raise as much money as possible. Please donate if you can, in memory of our friend Suzanne. We will also be thinking of those of our friends and families who are currently living with cancer, and remembering those family and friends we have sadly lost to cancer over the years.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
