I first ran this race when I hit 60 as one off my bucket list! Covid hit and there were no races for two years. At nearly 66 it's time to race again. Now, more than ever Cancer Research need our help. Covid hospitalisations and treatment have taken priority and there are many people who sadly did not get treated in time, let us remember them and do our bit to get Cancer Research UK back on track.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
