All the family we have lost to cancer and my mum who thankfully beat her long battle with cancer.

My Story

Race for Life means a lot to me. I have lost to many family members to cancer. My mum had a long hard battle to a rare form of lymphoma, multiple rounds of chemo, radiotherapy and 2 stem cell transplants. After 14years she is thankfully free from cancer. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
