My Story
💔At the beginning of December we lost our wonderful Sally. She was the most amazing mum, wife, daughter, sister and, to me cousin and friend. She made me belly laugh, always looked out for me and was one of my absolute faves. She was also my crazy adventure partner. We would have a few drinks and sign up for challenges without really reading the detail (irresponsible but we probably wouldn't have signed up otherwise). What really galls me is that she didn't even get a chance to fight her cancer (CLUMP she called it). Following diagnosis in October she died gracefully at home on 4th December with her lovely gang by her side. I have asked that any money I raise goes towards research that will enable earlier diagnosis. We were looking for a challenge to to together in 2026. Sally would have been the first to sign up, and we would have tackled it together. So I'm doing it to say 'up yours cancer, do one!' I know how tight pockets are at the moment, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. Whether you can make a monetary donation of cheer me on, I am SUPER grateful for any support. Thank you xx 💖
