My Story

Hi Everyone, All that know me well enough, know that quite recently we lost someone very dear to us to Cancer, which was heartbreaking. We also have close friends who have survived cancer and been given the all clear, much to the relief of their families. And if you really know me ,you know running is not my favourite form of exercise & getting mud in my hair, well I'm deffo not a fan of that either!! (Hate washing & drying my hair) But for such a great cause and in memory of such a lovely man & those fighting this as we speak, I am stepping outside my comfort zone and I am going to complete the Race for Life Pretty Muddy. With the promise of gin at the end spurring me on, this should be a doddle, she hopes,lol !! Please donate and help me raise money so that more lives can be saved or extended, so that many more families can get more time with their loved ones. Or even come down and support us on the day !! Bring snacks & drinks :-) Id also like to say a massive thanks to all my friends & family members who are Nurses or Doctors for the fantastic job you do in caring for those that are/have been effected by cancer - x 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
