My Story
Last year I did the 100 Squad / day challenge to raise some money. There was no real reason why I decided for cancerresearchuk.org. Little did I know that not even half a year later I was diagnosed with 2 types of cancer. I feel lucky as it was found at an early stage, but also that I was picked for some important tests to find out whether these are genetic or not. Long story short, I have recovered well after surgery and would like to raise some more money for research as I am aware how complex cancer can be and research is so so important. I would appreciate if you can spare a few pounds. Thanks a lot!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
