Saba's Going Sugar-Free

Hello , Hola , Salaam and welcome to my fundraising page! Those of you who know me , know that I have a sweet tooth and really enjoy my cakes , biscuits and mithai (Indian sweets) ! But you will be intrigued to know that I actually have more of a passion for Cancer Research than sweet treats ! In light of this , I've decided to go absolutely SUGAR-FREE in the month of February , in aid of Cancer Research UK ! Cancer has touched our lives in one way or another : I have heard of and seen family members and friends suffer from the disease , more so recently . Studying Cancer during my recent Masters also opened my eyes as to how vicious this disease really is. But this isn't about me: this is about helping the fathers , mothers , brothers,sisters, grandparents, cousins , friends , spouses and all those people who will be targeted by the disease ... and helping them survive. The key to the cure is research . However, the amazing scientists and the groundbreaking research CRUK funds, need to be supported in order to make the dream of a cure for various existing cancers , a reality . I would really appreciate your support in helping me refrain from those sweet treats and in helping me beat my cravings .
