My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Similar to many others, my family has been affected by cancer. I will be completing the race for life for my Nan, Linda Rich, who is currently facing off against cancer. She’s a strong lady who has beaten cancer multiple times over her life, and inspires all of us to continue fighting for what we want to achieve. On a further note, running a 10K has been one of my personal goals for a while now, so what better way to strive to complete that whilst raising money for Cancer Research UK.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
