My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. I completed my Chemoradiotherapy on 23/12/2020 and hope my tumour has been zapped away... I won’t know for sure for a while, but fingers crossed. This challenge has for me 3 purposes:- 1. Raise funds to help develop and improve cancer research to make treatments more effective and less invasive for patients and hopefully eventually eradicate this awful disease. 2. To help me get fit again after 6 months of doing little due to treatments and effects!! 3. In memory of both my Mum and Dad who both died of horrid cancers and suffered painfully with their horrendous treatments- let’s hope in future with this research no one will have to suffer in such a way! Please encourage and support me by donating and perhaps offering to be a walking partner on some days too! I’m not keen on walking alone 😉😉

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
