My Story
If you're reading this, then "thank you" for taking the time. My story isn't unusual, I was diagnosed with cancer (Lymphoma) aged 32 having already lost my mum to the disease and whilst I'm an ambassador for CRUK, I've have never done anything like this. My diagnosis came out of the blue. There followed a gruelling 18 month fight and whilst I'm currently in remission, this platform is now allowing me to raise funds for CRUK to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. I'm here to raise funds for as the breakthrough will come from research. Prevention is the battle but eradication of the disease is winning the war. The reality is that todays cancer survival rate is 2 in 4. Cancer Research UK aim to improve this stat to 3 in 4 by 2034. 1 in 3 of us will get cancer, of course it could well be you. Cancer Research UK unites 4,000 researchers and scientists to bring forward the day when all cancer no longer exists. They allow parents to watch their kids grow up, they enable people to dream. We have an obligation to remove this disease and the need for the cruel cure of chemotherapy. Together, we can make that happen. Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose!

CAUSE
Preventing cancers
We’re finding ways to stop cancer before it’s even made its first move. With your support, we can prevent more cancers so that fewer people hear the devastating news that they, or their loved ones, have the disease.
