Each of us have been affected by cancer in some way. It is undiscriminating and unbelievably unfair, which is why on 30th June, I am taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I am taking part to celebrate the work of Cancer Research in helping my amazing Grannie beat cancer multiple times, and in memory of the loved ones my friends and family have lost, in the hope that one day we may never have to lose someone else we love to cancer. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
