My Story
This year I am doing Cancer Research UK's Shine Night Walk to raise money for the fight to beat cancer. Many of you will know that a few years ago I lost my beautiful Mum very suddenly after a short battle with B Cell Lymphoma. Her passing has left a void in the lives of her family and her friends which can never be filled. Since then cancer has continued to affect the lives of people close to me and my heart goes out to them. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.
