Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. I am doing the shine cancer research walk for children's cancer because i think it is so important we find a cure for this dreadful disease for children who have not even lived to adulthood yet. This is especially poignant for me since becoming a mother as it must be so awful for parents to see their children battle this horrendous disease. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.
