My Story
As the girl who always said "I can't do PE" and certainly "CAN NOT RUN for my life" I've decided to step up to the challenge of running (probably more of a jog) the Derby 5K Race for Life. I began training in April... being able to run no longer than a minute I thought I had no chance but just like anything - if you keep trying you'll get there, and I am. So on the 2nd of July I will be running for My Granda, Stan Lucas,who is missed everyday. So, time to see if we can raise some money to help beat cancer sooner so that not everyone has to be missed like Stan.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
