My Story
This February I’m ditching the sweet stuff and giving up sugar for a whole month to raise money for Cancer Research UK and helping to beat cancer sooner. Like many of you I have lost beloved friends and family to different forms of cancer, and I know many more friends and neighbours who are battling and living with cancer today. Help me conquer my cravings and contribute to the fight against this disease by sponsoring me please! Those of you who know me well will know that I have a sweet tooth and we all know that sugar is an addiction, so this will be challenging!! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
