Let's fight cancer!
I'm going to be taking in part in Race for Life in May with a group of my closest friends as part of Team Lauren. Lauren was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in August which is unimaginable news for anyone but at just 26 even more devastating. In recent months she has gone through multiple ops and gruelling chemo sessions, but has come through it all smiling (for the most part) and joking (laugh or cry eh?!) She is fab and I couldn't be more proud of her. So, please sponsor me and let's raise some monies to fight cancer ??
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
