I'm raising funds in honour of Emma Dexter who is battling secondary cancer
On Sunday 7th October I will be running in the Chester marathon to help raise some money to help the battle to beat breast cancer. We all know someone who has been effected by cancer, in 2016 one of my best friends was diagnosed with breast cancer, the cancer was very aggressive and unfortunately spread to her lymph nodes, which has now resulted in the cancer spreading to numerous organs in her body. Despite the diagnosis Emma was given, she has been determined to prolong her life. I have never known someone with so much strength, determination and postitivity than her. I feel honoured to run for her and help raise some money to help find a cure. I really appreciate your donation. Maria xxxx Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
