My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m taking on the Run 66 Miles Challenge for the Bobby Moore Fund to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. More than a decade ago my mum had a battle with bowel cancer, which she won largely due to the kind of research the Bobby Moore fund pays for. So... with me having largely been off the running since she passed away in back in May here's an double opportunity for me to get back to it AND give a bit back. If you can spare some change it would be much appreciated. Wait.... crap... it's MILES not KM? Gah.

CAUSE
Bobby Moore Fund
Bobby Moore was just 51 years old when he died. Shortly after his death in 1993, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore OBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research. Since the fund was set up , bowel cancer mortality rates have fallen by over 30%. However, with 48 people losing their life to the disease every day in the UK, we still have a long way to go.
