My Story
Thanks for taking the time to read my page. Cancer does not discriminate. It can affect anyone of us no matter our age, race or gender. Sadly over the years we have lost friends and family to cancer. My grandad to leukaemia. Paul's great friend Adrian to esophageal cancer. Most recently our neighbours lost their daughter Karen (Bedford) Smith to breast cancer. Karen passed away in January 2016 aged just 43 years old. She has left behind her husband a two young boys. Thankfully, in ever increasing cases cancer is being beaten. I am so grateful that my cousin Julie is cancer free after suffering with Hodgkin's disease. Many of my friends have been treated in the last few years and beaten breast cancer. Our friend Ernie has recently completed his treatment for throat cancer and all is looking great for him. The money we raise will help early detection, treatment and counciling services. So please spare what you can, even if it's just a pound. Let's kick cancers butt !! Thank you Xxxxx
