My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I have many personal reasons why this matters, and I'm sure you have too. So this is not my story, this is all of our stories. I am very proud to have my daughter joining me on the run as well. I hope and pray that her generation will be able to look over their shoulders at a disease we have managed to conquer. With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
