My Story
“THE STORY SHE NEVER TOLD” It is still hard for me to process that my grandmother was alone during the cancer illness and its lethality. (SHE DID NOT TELL ANYONE)…. When we eventually found out, she had advanced cervical cancer which lead to the loss of her kidney function. We had exactly 5 days to say our goodbyes. I wish she had said something, I wish I had known sooner, I wish I had done more for her. It’s now been 11 months since granma passed away and I have learnt to let the grieving happen naturally and that I don’t have to run from my feelings. We are not alone, Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. Cancer Research UK, is dedicated to saving lives through research and donations are helping people/families/friends get good news and support. Please help me raise money to fund pioneering work into the causes, prevention and treatment cancer.
