Story

We have decided to fundraise money for Cancer Research UK as so many people lose the fight against cancer, but with more research people into this disease it means more people are likely to survive.

The money we raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. This will help many of those who are currently fighting this awful disease.

In order to try and fundraise as much as possible, we are going to be walking from our home in Reading to the London Eye from 20th to 21st April.

The walk will begin from our front door in Reading, where we will be leaving home at around 7am to allow enough time for food and toilet breaks along the way. We are fortunate enough to have been offered a complimentary room at Ibis Hounslow in London, where we will stay overnight from 20th-21st April.

Once we have fully rested and had breakfast on 21st April, we will continue the walk from the hotel all the way to the London Eye. We aim to leave the hotel at around 10am. We may go on the London Eye afterwards, as a treat for all of our hard work before catching a train back to Reading.

We would really appreciate any donations you able to give, big or small - even sharing this fundraiser on social media will go a long way.
