My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page! :) Some of you will know 2016 was the year cancer reared its ugly head & targeted my immediate & extended family. I was that person watching someone suffer because of cancer & there was nothing I could do about it. No one should have to go through cancer or be the one watching someone else go through it. My positivity after an awful year is trying to make a comeback & began with me recently starting back at the gym. Then, I received an email with details of The Great Row Challenge. I have not long completed 2000m rowing in the gym in around 11.5 minutes. So, to make it worthwhile & set myself a personal challenge, I need to go one better - to Row 4.2 miles (6759.2m)! Challenge week is 25th March - 1st April so I need to have completed it by then. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose!
