2019 VIP Winter Run
My Story
Hello friends and family, I’m so happy to say I’m running my first 10K on February 3rd in aid of Cancer Research as part of the CR Winter Run! I know it’s no marathon, but I’d really appreciate any spare change (or pint money!) you have to donate to the fantastic work Cancer Research are doing. Thank you so much for your support, your thoughts and donations will really help motivate me throughout the run. Row x Fun little fact: Did you know that corals have anti-Cancer properties, anti-inflammatory properties, bone repair, and neurological benefits?...All found in many drugs for Cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and HIV. We have to protect our medicine cabinet of the sea, so that we have every chance of putting an end to Cancer and other life-threatening diseases, for good.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
