My Story
Thank you for visiting my Donate in Memory page. When Ross was 6 months old he became very ill. He was diagnosed with leukemia.. The worst news any parent would fear.. Cancer. When Ross was 2 1/2 years old he had to travel to Birmingham for a bone marrow transplant which came from a man in Germany. He was soo ill, that lynne had to constantly check and see if Ross was breathing, by using a mirror to check for his breath😞 when the bone marrow arrived by police escort, after two weeks of having it, he was like a new child!! When Ross came back to Belfast he got regular blood tests and checkups and the hospital was soo happy with him..until one day, 4 months after the bone marrow he got his checkup. The nurse walked straight out of the room and couldn't even look at lynne or Ross (he was treated like family at the RVH) Lynne knew something was wrong. The cancer was back and wasn't going away this time. Ross died shortly after, causing alot of heart ache, pain and anger that a child soo young was taken. Please please help us raise money for cancer research! People's lives depend on us. Thank you xx

CAUSE
Leukaemia
Five-year survival rates for leukaemia have more than tripled in the last 40 years. But despite this progress, around 4,600 people still lose their lives to the disease every year. Almost a third of all cancers diagnosed in children are leukaemia. Your donation can help Cancer Research UK find better treatments and new ways to prevent the disease in adults and children.
