I’m running in remembrance of one of the most beautiful and influential women in my life - my Nana.
In memory of
Nana Carol
Thousands of people are diagnosed with cancer every year and fight the disease bravely. In 1992, my Nanna was one of those people. Her stoicism and boundless positivity during her nineteen years of disease, treatments and remissions have inspired me to run in her memory in support of Cancer Research; a charity which works tirelessly to find new treatments and cures for all types of cancer. My Nanna received many treatments during the course of her long fight against Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma; treatments which prolonged her life and which were only available as a result of the efforts of scientists like those who work for Cancer Research UK. Please help me to support the work of an organisation which makes it possible for so many people, young and old, to survive this devastating disease.
