My Story
As some of you may know my nan and grandad have been fighting cancer for a while. Watching the changes this disease can have on a human being in unbearable and the struggle you have to go through to see them deal with it is heartbreaking. Feeling hopeless, I’ve decided to take part in Race for Life this year to help raise money for Cancer Research UK and I would be SO grateful for anyone who can contribute towards me doing this. I feel so useless and annoyed that I can’t change the circumstances for my family but I can’t just sit back and do nothing. Race for Life is such a good cause and your money will help millions of people who desperately need treatment. I also want to thank my close friends who have been phenomenal through this time and are also taking part in this event so PLEASE donate to their pages too.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
