My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This June, I’m walking 100 miles in the month to help beat cancer. Having had breast cancer last year and receiving the best treatment and care from the NHS, I want to raise money for vital research so that more people can get diagnosed earlier, survive cancer and hopefully I will get a bit fitter in the process! 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
