When I was diagnosed with bowel cancer back in 2001 my youngest son was just 5 years old. The thought of not seeing my 4 children grow up was devastating. I was one of the lucky ones. That 5 year old is now a young man of 21 and I have been lucky enough to watch all of my 4 wonderful children grow into wonderful adults! I was diagnosed with MS in 1997 and assumed my running days were over. Last Summer, inspired and encouraged by my family and friends, I took up running again. Please help me to put my running to good use! I am running in memory of my wonderful brother in law Nigel Sturley who lost his life to cancer after just a few short months back in December 2015. I will be running with Jack's girlfriend, the lovely Abigail Cobby. 1 in 2 peopl.e will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
