My Story
My mum died of pancreatic cancer twelve years ago at the age of 61. My whole world fell apart. I always believed in a clean life and after my mum passed away, I became even more interested in subjects like healthy eating, exercise and mindfulness. Today, I can say I feel much happier, healthier and even younger than 15 years ago. Our life style has a big impact on our health and a healthy body is just as important as a healthy mind, because both are deeply connected and affect each other. It is so important to have a positive attitude towards life! I also believe in research and I pray for the day when cancer will be eradicated from this world, that's why I am taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money for this purpose. It is the first time I will be running with friends for charity and I am very excited about it! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
