Rosa's team of muddy runners
Crawley Pretty Muddy 5k 2018
Sun 24 Jun 2018
Hi, my name is Rosanna and the race for life really means a lot to me. My mum had breast cancer in 2015 and after going through a mastectomy, chemo and radiotherapy she managed to beat it! To all our shock, in March this year my mum was diagnosed with APML Leukemia which is a rare blood cancer. Mum has been in hospital lots, and will be having current treatment up until Christmas. The hospital staff have been amazing and mum’s consultant sat down with me and my younger brother and sister to explain everything to us - she is lovely. My mum is my hero and my inspiration. No matter what she is going through, she has always got a smile on her face no matter what. So, because mum makes me proud everyday, I want to make her proud by running the ‘pretty mud run’ on the 24th of June. My best friends Imogen and Melissa and their mums Teresa and Alison are running the race with me. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
