Rosalind's Race for Life
Ipswich 10k 2019
Sun 23 Jun 2019 - Sun 23 Jun 2019
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I had breast cancer in 2000. My mother had cancer including breast cancer and lived into her 80s and i have been well since i had my lumpectomy. i have decided to do this walk to show other women that life can go on and there are lot of women out there who have survived and live a good life. Now a good friend of mine is going into hospital tomorrow so i want to raise funds to help all the wonderful nurses that will help my friend get through this as well as gratitude to the staff that helped me. Thank you.
