Sadly my lovely Dad passed away from cancer in March earlier this year. By running 10k in June, I'm hoping to help fund research to bring about a cure for cancer sooner. Cancer is something that affects us all, as 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime. Through raising money I want to help ensure that other dads and daughters, mums and sons, families and friends can stay together for longer. 10k is currently further than I've ever run before and even the smallest donation would help make a huge difference! Let's help beat cancer together sooner.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
