My Story
We have challenged ourselves to run 56 miles this February for life-saving research. The #run56mileschallenge is a Facebook challenge and all the money donated will go to Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK is close to all our hearts. We have witnessed loved ones fight cancer which has inspired us to raise money for this valuable hardworking charity. Statistics show 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime. Cancer Research UK funds 50% of all cancer research here in the UK and together they are a collective of force fighting over 200 cancers. Rosa Burns, Martha Graham and Charlotte Hemmingway

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
