A Bucket For Change For World Cancer Day
My Story
Unfortunately cancer is a growing worldwide problem. It is a merciless disease that impacts thousands without discrimination. In the previous four years I had two surgeries because of an incurable disease with the potential for becoming cancer. Yet the disease remains and I continue to suffer like thousands of others. This charity is involved with the best scientists and organisations to beat the different diseases and cancers. Through research it is hoped that these diseases and cancers are someday defeated. Usually volunteers collect donations physically in support of World Cancer Day but not possible due to the pandemic. This year the fundraising event is online 'Bucket For Change'. But your donations could help Cancer Research UK in finding treatments for the different cancerous diseases - This is the reason why I have decided to volunteer and help. Please donate whatever is possible to help fight cancer. Every donation and amount is important. Let us unite and fight this battle together! Note: A donation of £10.00 could fund the Cancer Chat Forum for 30 minutes for anybody to safely discuss about cancer.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
