My Story
On the 15th October I am doing a 10km walk to raise awareness for early detection of cancer. I am doing the walk with Ailish, Mum and her amazing Haematology Oncology nurses. Last Christmas Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, after she had found a lump slightly higher then the mammogram field. But thank goodness for mum persistent, she is on the road to recovery. With Mums cancer initial being missed on her mammogram, I want to urge everyone to keep checking for lumps and if something doesn’t feel right get it checked out. You know your body and if it wasn’t for mums persistents, she would have been sent away and wouldn’t have been seen for 3 years till her next recommended mammogram. Please donate whatever you can, every penny really does really make a difference 💕 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work. Donate to my Giving Page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
